Zizzer Homecoming Parade

Not An Early Release Day – Please note Friday, September 27, will follow a regular full school day schedule instead of our usual Friday early release. Due to the 1:00 p.m. parade, our buses will not return in time to accommodate an early dismissal. Therefore, dismissal times will be as follows: South Fork at 3:45 p.m., WPES at 2:50 p.m., ZPA at 3:30 p.m., and WPMS and WPHS at 3:40 p.m.

Homecoming Parade – Downtown at 1:00 p.m. The parade will start with a lineup at the corner of Missouri Avenue and Main Street, travel along Main Street and around the square, continue onto Main Street, and finally disband in the West Plains Civic Center parking lot. Find the Homecoming Parade float entry form at www.zizzers.org. (Floats must be registered to participate, line up begins at 11:00 a.m.)

The homecoming parade is the only event in the school year where all 2,700 Zizzer students are together in the same place at the same time. We ask that you take extra caution if you’re near our parade route as we create this memorable experience for our Zizzer staff and students. Please prepare for Main Street and parts of Missouri Avenue to be blocked off before and after parade time.

Varsity Football vs. Rogersville Kickoff – 7:00 p.m. at the Zizzer Stadium.

Homecoming Coronation – Halftime at the Zizzer Stadium.
