Award winning multi-instrumentalist John Depew, the 2022 Kansas state mandolin champion will be bringing his unique sound to the Yellow House. There is a suggested $10 donation at the door. Depew’s first self-titled album in 2021 got immediate positive attention from critics and musicians alike. A review by Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers stated, ” Excellent music. One of a kind.” After putting time in on the road and the studio, Depew is touring on the release of his current album (Yellow Threads) recorded May of 2023.
