October 8th will mark six months since the Total Solar Eclipse which West Plains had the good fortune to experience. To commemorate the event and “The Year of the Eclipse,” we will bury a time capsule containing information about our town and how the community celebrated the eclipse. We also plan to plant a dogwood tree in honor of the occasion as a living memorial.
Everyone is invited to join us we put the finishing touch on a very special astronomical occurrence!
