Downtown West Plains Fall Block Party

Free to the public – everyone welcome.

Activities include:

– cornhole tournament

– face painting and balloon art

– meet the cast of the Avenue Theatre play “The Beverly Hillbillies”
– Storytelling: “History of the West Plains Square” at 2 and 3 p.m.

Pumpkin Decorating Competition: From noon to 1 p.m. entries of pre-carved or painted pumpkins accepted for the West Plains Council on the Arts pumpkin competition at booth located on northwest corner of the Square. Entries will be on display throughout the event, noon to 5 p.m. Competition categories: Youth (under 14) – scariest, cutest, funniest. Adult – most original, most artistic, most beautiful. All entries eligible for People’s Choice award which will be announced shortly before 5 p.m.
