From the organizers: The 2nd Annual Elvis Festival, also known as Elvis on the Avenue, hosted by The Avenue Theatre, will feature an Elvis Tribute Artist Contest at 7:00 PM, along with other Elvis-themed activities. The festival will also include food trucks, vendors, and a “Jail to Bail” fundraising activity.

From organizers: Folk rock band “The Last Monarchs of Fall” out of Jonesboro will be bringing their blended harmonies and poetic troubadour vibes. Think Bob Dylan meets My Morning Jacket. This will be their first time at the Yellow House so come and welcome our talented friends. Accompanying this must-see band will be two artists with work on display at the house. Angela Castro of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Ariana Grace of Memphis. The two artists will bring a compelling display and depth of their own artistic journey. The art reception will start at 5 pm where you can see, meet, and even purchase art from two amazing talents. Then at 7 pm be surrounded by the artistic images and feel the art through the energy provided by The Last Monarchs of Fall. suggested donation of $10 to support our talented friends and the Yellow House.

Paint and Pie is a relaxed watercolor painting taught by Madison Callahan and this time you get to enjoy freshly baked pie and beverages during the class. This class is open to all skill levels and ages this is a BYOB event so please do so responsibly. Sign up in advance and get ready for a flavorful evening of painting and fun. Springfield’s own THE KURSK a band that has been around for a minute rocking stages all over. They have a blend of heavy riffs and haunting melodies that you don’t want to miss. Neon Scythe is a local hard rock based band that captures your attention and provides and energy driven set to get you moving physically and mentally. Our opening band is Emotional Support Animal to get the house rocking. Don’t miss the opportunity to see three amazing groups for one sweet price.
