The Harlin Museum is presenting an exhibit called “War & Memory in the Ozarks” featuring artwork, photos, and artifacts from their collection. Organizers say there will be two HO gauge layouts and one O gauge layout. Admission is free with donations welcome. The intricate displays of to-scale trains, cars, buildings, landscapes, and “citizens” engage the viewer in finding details and appreciating the art and craft of model train building. The MSU-West Plains University Community Band will present their annual Fall Concert on the Commons in front of Hass-Darr on Monday, October 6, 2025, at 6:30 pm. The band will perform many of your favorite songs and some seasonal selections. Concert goers are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs or blankets. This concert is free and open to the public.
