The MSU-WP University Community Band will be performing our Summer Concert on Thursday, June 5, 2025 beginning at 6:30 pm as part of the monthly Downtown Stroll event. The concert is free; however, community members will need to bring their own seating, university officials said. Those who attend can expect to hear a variety of marches, patriotic songs, popular tunes and movie themes, among others, according to Director of Music Rocky Long. Please join us and also enjoy all the activities planned for the Downtown Stroll as well.
If you have ever considered joining our group or just want to play your instrument again, please join our group for this concert with minimal time commitment. We’ll rehearse two hours each evening on Monday, June 2 and Tuesday, June 3 before we perform on Thursday, June 5th at the Downtown Stroll. Email RockyLong@MissouriState.edu for more information.
