Join us for a day of riding, remembrance, and community at the 3rd Annual Chaz Coats Memorial Dice Run! Whether you’re on a motorcycle, in a Jeep, side-by-side, or classic car, we invite you to come along for a great ride and a great cause.
A memorial dice run to honor Chaz Coats, a Club kid, and to raise funds the Boys & Girls Club of the Greater West Plains Area. Registration starts at 9:30am, with driving starting at 10am. Contestants will drive the route, stopping at different locations to draw a number for the highest score. At the end of the route, the person with the best score will win $200!
Registration is $25 per person and will include 1 shirt & 1 scorecard. Bikes, jeeps, trucks and all other vehicles are welcome! Additional shirts are $20 each. Additional scorecards are $5 each. Lunch, provided by Bootleggers, will start at noon – $10/plate. You do not need to participate in the dice run to enjoy the meals or festivities.

A: West Plains Civic Center.

A: Tickets are $50 each. You can buy them in person at the WP Civic Center Box Office or online by scanning the QR code on our flyer!
🪑 Q: What if I want to reserve a table?
A: Reserving a table is the best way to ensure you sit with your group! After purchasing your tickets, notify the Civic Center that you’re reserving a table and send a quick confirmation email to the WP Education Foundation.
🏆 Q: If we purchase a table, can we decorate it ourselves?
A: Absolutely! We encourage it—there will even be a trophy awarded for the table with the most Zizzer spirit!

The MSU-West Plains University Community Choir will present A Night of Broadway in the sanctuary at West Plains First United Methodist Church on Tuesday, September 29, 2026. Building on the success of the 2025 Dolly & Porter Stroll, this expanded celebration brings music, art, food, family fun, and community together for an unforgettable weekend.
Festival activities include:
• Live gospel, country, Americana, and bluegrass performances
• Hot Dog eating contest
• Local vendors and artisans
• Live music throughout the festival
• The “Rags to Art” fiber arts exhibition inspired by Dolly’s Coat of Many Colors put on by Explore West Plains
• Dolly & Porter costume contests for adults, kids, and pets
• Kids’ Makers Market and family activities
• Dessert bake-off competition

Porter Wagoner’s story began right here in West Plains before taking him to the Grand Ole Opry, television screens across America, and the Country Music Hall of Fame.
