Ozarks Healthcare and CBCO Blood Drive @ OMC Parkway Center's Willard Hunter Classroom
Apr 15 @ 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Event by Ozarks Healthcare and Community Blood Center of the Ozarks at OMC Parkway Center’s Willard Hunter Classroom, 1211 Porter Wagoner Blvd.
If you’re looking to make a difference in your community, donating blood with the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks is a great way to do it.
The CBCO is the sole provider of blood, platelets and plasma to over 40 hospitals in southwest Missouri, northwest Arkansas and southeast Kansas.
Your donation can help save the lives of up to three people right here in the Ozarks. And for a limited time, we’re rewarding all donors who are Hungry to Help our neighbors, friends and loved ones by offering a chance to win one of dozens of $150 gift cards to a grocery store or restaurant of their choice.
Roll up your sleeve and give the gift of life to your community!
While supplies last, successful donors will receive a “Donut Forget” to Give Blood T-Shirt. Blood donors will also be entered into our weekday drawing for a $150 gift card to a grocery store or restaurant of their choice. (Some restrictions apply, visit https://www.cbco.org/hungrytohelp for details.) Plus, successful donors will receive LifePoints which can be redeemed in our online Donor Rewards portal for gift cards to local shops or restaurants.
  . .
For every blood, plasma or platelet donation during the Hungry to Help Blood Drive, CBCO will donate a new item of clothing to a local charity. By donating blood, you’re not only helping hospital patients. You’re supporting charitable organizations committed to helping our communities.
⏰
: Tickets are NOT required for this drive. Clicking the “Find Tickets” link in this event will take you to the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks website, where you can book an appointment. Walk-ins are always welcome, but appointments are strongly encouraged to help manage donor flow.
Need help making an appointment? Call 417-227-5006.
‍⚕️
Before the blood drive, donors are asked to take a few steps to ensure that donations operate smoothly on the day of the drive:
1. Drink plenty of water or juice the night and morning before you donate.
2. Eat a well-balanced meal around 2-3 hours before giving.
3. Bring your photo identification: This is now required for all donors.
