The 15th annual Missouri State University-West Plains Ozarks Studies symposium will be held at the West Plains Civic Center on September 22-24. The theme of the 2022 symposium is “Cultural Encounters in the Ozarks.”

The Amelia Network, a local networking group for women in business and leadership positions in the West Plains area and surrounding communities, will be hosting its second annual Business Women’s Expo on September 24 at the Ozarks Small Business Incubator (OzSBI) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Expo will feature over 40 women-owned business vendors on both floors of the business incubator. Vendors will offer unique products and services from across the region, including health and wellness, beauty products, jewelry, fashion boutiques, home décor and more. Attendees also will be able to enjoy multiple food vendors serving coffee, sweets, hot dogs, BBQ and other tasty treats.
Attendees will be able to enter giveaways, shop, network, and support local women-owned businesses. The Expo is open to the public and free to attend.
