The race is part of the West Plains, Missouri, 4-Day Party in the Path which celebrates the April 8 Total Eclipse of the Sun. It will be run on the trails at Galloway Creek Nature Park, with proceeds to benefit West Plains High School Zizzer Cross Country & Track Teams.
Registration starts at 6:30 a.m. Race starts at 8 a.m., with awards ceremony at 9 a.m. The cost is $35 and includes t-shirt, water bottle, cooling towel, custom medal and bib. Participants limited to 300. Register by March 24, 2024, to guarantee t-shirt size.
Plaques awarded to overall male and female winners. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place stickers for medals awarded to top 3 male and female runners in each age group which are: 9 & under, 10-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 70 & up.
