From organizers: Ozark Artery is hosting a car, car culture and vehicle-themed art show in partnership with The Yellow House and in conjunction with the Downtown Fall Block Party. Local photographer Bradley Mitchell  suggested the theme for the show. He notes the many ways cars and ‘car culture’ have influenced media and had a significant impact on society, from music to television to movies and more. Multiple artists have entered the show and have interpreted the theme with photography, drawings, paintings and mixed media pieces.
There is no admission charged to view the show.  A People’s Choice prize will be awarded. Each vote in choosing People’s Choice will be a $1 donation to the Artery. The show can also be viewed during regular hours of operation of the Yellow House (typically Wednesdays, 11-3, and Thursdays, 10-2 and during events) up to October 14. Some of the pieces are available for sale with purchases supporting local artists.
There will be a car show across the street from the Yellow House in the parking lot. It is being organized by Cars & Good Company West Plains and is an extension of a car show being held on West Main and West Main Plaza for the Downtown Block Party.
