The Avenue Theatre proudly presents the Second Annual Fall Spectacular: STEEL MAGNOLIAS. From the duo that brought you The Beverly Hillbillies, Tray and Allie Whitsell are excited to bring Steel Magnolias to the stage!
The production will be for 6 adult women, ages 19-91+. Depending on the turnout, we may decide to have TWO casts, so please don’t let the small cast size keep you from auditioning. Speaking of auditions… we’re doing things a little differently. Instead of having everyone sign up for different times, we’ve decided to have everyone come in at the same time.
Auditions are Saturday, August 5th at 6 PM, or Sunday, August 6th at 2 PM. You do not have to attend both auditions, but are welcome to. Please fill out our google form https://forms.gle/inJXVbPju54AqyzP8 (https://forms.gle/inJXVbPju54AqyzP8) before coming into auditions so we’re ready for you!
NOTE: No need to prepare anything, we’ll be doing a cold read from the script. Rehearsals will begin September 5th and be every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Our performances will be picked from October 13-29th, depending on having one cast or two!
